Eau Claire Firefighter Honored After Sudden Death in Line of Duty
A procession was held to honor Bryce Jungbluth, a firefighter from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who died after a sudden medical emergency. Jungbluth, 27, passed away at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester after the incident occurred shortly after his shift. The Eau Claire Fire Department, along with firefighters from Minnesota and Wisconsin, participated in the procession that transported his remains from Minneapolis to Eau Claire, and then to Hayward, where his funeral will be held. Jungbluth was remembered for his dedication and passion for the fire service, having served both the Eau Claire Fire Department and Carrboro Fire-Rescue in North Carolina.
