Baykar and Edge to Integrate Al Tariq Bomb with Akinci UAV
Turkey's Baykar Technology and the UAE's Edge Group have announced a collaboration to integrate the Al Tariq guided bomb onto the Bayraktar Akıncı UAV. This agreement, revealed during the SAHA 2026 exhibition in Istanbul, marks a significant step in the strategic alliance between the two companies. The Al Tariq bomb, developed with South Africa's Denel Dynamics, is a modular kit that enhances the capabilities of general-purpose aircraft bombs. This integration aims to expand the operational range and precision of the Akıncı UAV, a key asset in modern aerial warfare.
