Actors Demian Bichir and Danny Ramirez have joined as executive producers for the documentary 'Desert Angel,' directed by Vincent De Luca. The film focuses on Rafael Larraenza, a volunteer rescuer who has spent 30 years searching for migrants lost along the U.S.-Mexico border. It also follows Indira, a mother searching for her missing son, highlighting the emotional toll of migration. The documentary, filmed over five years across southern border states, aims to shed light on the dangers and systemic issues of this migration corridor. Bichir, known for his advocacy for immigrants, brings personal resonance to the project, while Ramirez adds the documentary to his production company's slate.
