Opera Introduces Browser Connector for AI Chatbot Integration
Opera has launched a new feature called Browser Connector, allowing users to integrate AI chatbots into their browsing experience. This feature is available for Opera One and Opera GX browsers and utilizes the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable secure connections between AI models and external data sources. Users can now incorporate AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude into their browsing sessions, enhancing real-time context and interaction. This development follows Opera's introduction of MCP compatibility in its subscription-based Opera Neon browser.
