The state's economy is noted for its diversity in technology, financial services, tourism, aerospace, and energy, along with low unemployment and high job growth. Meanwhile, South Dakota and North Dakota have shown significant improvements, with South Dakota climbing to second place from eighth and North Dakota moving to fourth from twelfth. These gains are attributed to advancements in healthcare, education, fiscal ability, and economic performance.
