Philippines Upskills Construction Workforce with BIM Training for Global Competitiveness
The Philippines is advancing its construction industry by training a core group of master trainers in Building Information Modeling (BIM), a digital system crucial for modern construction projects. This initiative, part of the International Labour Organization (ILO)-Korea Partnership Programme, aims to equip young Filipinos with digital and green skills, enhancing their competitiveness in both local and global markets. The training, conducted by Korea Polytechnic University, focuses on practical BIM applications, project information management, and strategic modeling. The program is designed to have a long-term national impact by developing future BIM courses and expanding access to digital construction skills across the country.
