Bratislava-Paris Air Travel Demand Remains Strong Despite Lack of Direct Flights
The demand for air travel between Bratislava, Slovakia, and Paris, France, remains robust, despite the absence of direct flights. According to Aviation Week Catchment Analyzer data, 327,434 two-way passengers traveled between the two cities' catchment areas in the 12 months leading to the third quarter of 2025. This represents a 5.2% increase year-on-year. Currently, no airlines offer direct flights between Bratislava and Paris, with the last service by Ryanair ending in 2020. Passengers are instead using nearby airports, such as Vienna, to travel to Paris. The market is characterized by a significant proportion of inbound traffic, with 61% of passengers traveling to Bratislava from Paris.
