Art Exhibitions Highlight Lucian Freud and Gwen John in the UK

Concurrently, the National Museum Cardiff is celebrating the work of Gwen John, a prominent early 20th-century British artist, with an exhibition called 'Strange Beauties.' These exhibitions are part of a broader art scene in the UK, which includes shows by Lynda Benglis and Giacometti at the Barbican and a retrospective on Scottish art schools at the Royal Scottish Academy.
