Young Girl Identified Among Two Bodies Found Near Dominguez Channel in Carson
One of two bodies discovered near the Dominguez Channel in Carson, California, has been identified as a young girl by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. The girl, estimated to be between 6 and 13 years old, was found unresponsive on Tuesday near a bike path adjacent to the channel, close to Victoria Golf Course on S. Avalon Boulevard. Her body was discovered after someone at the golf course reported seeing a body floating downstream. She has not been publicly identified, but the Medical Examiner described her as being between 4-foot-4 and 4-foot-8, with brown hair and brown eyes, weighing between 65 and 80 pounds.
