A drone strike has caused a fire at the Barakah nuclear power plant in the United Arab Emirates. The incident, which occurred on the perimeter of the plant, did not result in any injuries or radiological release, according to Abu Dhabi officials. The UAE's defense ministry reported that three drones entered the country from the western border, with two being intercepted and the third striking an electrical generator outside the plant's inner perimeter. The International Atomic Energy Agency's director general, Rafael Grossi, condemned the military activity near the nuclear facility, emphasizing the need for restraint to prevent nuclear accidents.
