Hyundai Motor Unveils IONIQ V at Auto China 2026, Strengthening China Strategy
Hyundai Motor Company has reaffirmed its commitment to the Chinese market at Auto China 2026 by unveiling the IONIQ V, the first dedicated IONIQ production model for China. This move is part of Hyundai's 'In China, For China, To Global' strategy, positioning China as a strategic hub for electric vehicle innovation. The company plans to introduce 20 new models in China over the next five years, including battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs). Hyundai's strategy involves significant investments in Beijing Hyundai, a joint venture with BAIC Group, to support localized product development and innovation.
