Sabrina Carpenter Secures Restraining Order Against Stalker
Sabrina Carpenter has been granted a temporary restraining order against William Applegate, a 31-year-old man accused of stalking her. The Los Angeles County court issued the order on June 1, 2026, prohibiting Applegate from being within 100 yards of Carpenter's Hollywood Hills home, which she shares with her sister and her sister's partner. Carpenter reported that Applegate had been stalking her since April 20, 2026, and attempted to force entry into her home on May 23. Despite being confronted by a security guard, Applegate refused to leave, claiming Carpenter was expecting him. He was arrested for trespassing but returned to the neighborhood two days later.
