SDARL Summit to Unite South Dakota Agriculture Leaders for Learning and Leadership
The South Dakota Agricultural and Rural Leadership (SDARL) program is set to host its inaugural SDARL Summit on June 19-20, 2026, at Cedar Shore Resort in Oacoma. This event aims to bring together agricultural, business, community, and policy leaders from across South Dakota for a two-day program focused on learning, networking, and leadership development. The summit will feature a leadership panel with SDARL alumni who have served as South Dakota agriculture secretaries, moderated by Hunter Roberts, Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Additionally, discussions on emerging issues related to artificial intelligence will be presented by South Dakota technology leaders. The event will also include a professional training workshop on leadership skills and strategies, led by SDARL Program Director Jennifer Henrie, and networking opportunities for participants.
