Ukraine Proposes Turkey as Venue for Zelenskiy-Putin Peace Talks to Revive Negotiations
Ukraine has proposed Turkey as a neutral venue for peace talks between President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin. This proposal aims to restart stalled negotiations and avoid meetings in Belarus or Russia, which are seen as biased locations due to Belarus's alliance with Russia. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced the proposal, emphasizing Ukraine's willingness to consider any neutral location for the talks. The initiative reflects Ukraine's ongoing efforts to resolve the conflict that has persisted since Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022.
