U.S. Catholics Mobilize Support for Mexican Cristeros Amid Religious Persecution

In response, U.S. Catholics, including the Knights of Columbus, launched a campaign to support their Mexican counterparts. The Knights of Columbus, with a significant presence in Mexico, were instrumental in these efforts, organizing conferences and distributing informational materials to highlight the persecution. The U.S. Catholic community's actions were part of a broader international effort, which included a papal encyclical condemning the Mexican government's actions.
