International Telecommunication Union Organizes Global Space Connectivity and Sustainability Events in Riyadh
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in collaboration with CST Saudi Arabia, is organizing the 2026 Global Space Connectivity & Sustainability Events from October 12-14, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This three-day gathering, themed 'Connected Earth, Sustainable Space,' merges two established events: 'Connecting the World from the Skies' and the 'Space Sustainability Forum.' The event aims to unite governments, international organizations, industry leaders, and researchers to address the intertwined challenges of space sustainability and global connectivity. Discussions will focus on global governance and responsible behavior in space, managing congestion, mitigating interference and debris, and the evolution of international space law.
