CNN's Sara Sidner Faces Health Scare After Previous Cancer Battle
Sara Sidner, a CNN anchor, recently experienced a health scare following a PET scan that suggested a possible recurrence of cancer. Sidner, who was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in 2023 and declared cancer-free later that year, faced a PET scan that indicated potential metastatic stage 4 cancer. The scan results suggested the cancer might have spread to her hip, spine, liver, and lungs. However, a subsequent biopsy and molecular cancer blood test confirmed that there was no cancer, providing Sidner with relief after a period of intense anxiety.
