Michigan Shooting Leaves Four Family Members Dead, Suspect in Custody
In Livonia, Michigan, a tragic shooting incident resulted in the deaths of four family members. The suspect, a 25-year-old resident of the home, was taken into custody after allegedly shooting his parents, brother, and his brother's girlfriend. The police were alerted to the scene following reports of multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, the suspect surrendered to the officers, admitting to the shootings. The victims were identified as the suspect's parents, Sterling Ray Pierce and Holly Marie Kimball, his brother Tanner Ray Pierce, and Tanner's girlfriend Nevaeh May Jaslynn Finch. All victims succumbed to gunshot wounds despite emergency efforts. The police have described the suspect's relationship with his parents as 'contentious' but have not identified any prior incidents or mental health issues. A semi-automatic rifle believed to be used in the shooting was recovered, and the investigation is ongoing.
