Delta Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Atlanta Due to Smoke Condition
A Delta Air Lines flight bound for Orlando was forced to make an emergency landing at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport shortly after takeoff due to a smoke condition in the flight deck. The incident occurred on Saturday morning, involving Delta Flight 2204, which carried approximately 200 passengers and six crew members. The aircraft returned to the airport and landed safely on a taxiway, where passengers evacuated using emergency slides. Delta reported that one crew member and one passenger sought medical attention following the incident. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced an investigation into the emergency landing.
