Global Fuel Shortages Highlight Operational Challenges Amid Energy Crisis
A global fuel shortage tracker has identified significant disruptions in the supply of jet fuel, petrol, diesel, and heating oil across more than 30 countries. The tracker, updated weekly, shows that new disruptions have emerged or escalated in the past seven days, affecting various regions differently. North America, for instance, has reported active shortages, while other regions like Europe and Asia are on watch for potential disruptions. The shortages have led to fuel rationing, station closures, and impacts on carriers and refineries.
