Zanesville Memorial Concert Band Launches 2026 Season with Themed Performances
The Zanesville Memorial Concert Band is set to commence its 103rd season with a series of five themed concerts, starting on May 31 at Zane’s Landing Park. The opening concert, titled 'Horizons,' will explore themes of aviation and adventure, featuring pieces like 'Strategic Air Command' and music from 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.' The band, which includes musicians from southeastern Ohio, aims to enrich the community through free performances. The season will also feature the ZMCB High School Honors Band, providing young musicians with performance opportunities. In case of rain, concerts will be moved to Secrest Auditorium.
