Sutter Health Expands Partnership with SCAN Health Plan in Santa Clara County for 2027
Sutter Health is expanding its partnership with SCAN Health Plan, a Medicare Advantage plan provider, into Santa Clara County for 2027. This expansion will allow eligible SCAN members in Santa Clara County to access Sutter Health's network of doctors and providers. Sutter Health, which operates in over 100 cities and towns in Northern California, includes facilities such as Sutter Roseville Medical Center and Sutter Medical Group. The organization is recognized as a top employer in California by Forbes and Newsweek. The expanded SCAN plan, which includes a new SCAN Costco plan, offers benefits such as a $0 monthly premium, $0 primary care and specialist visits, and $0 copays for Tier 1 and Tier 2 prescription drugs. Additionally, members can receive annual allowances for over-the-counter items, healthy foods, eyewear, hearing aids, and dental care, along with low-cost prescription drugs at Costco and transportation to Costco pharmacies.
