University of Washington Launches Fully Funded Public Health Leadership Program for African Professionals
The University of Washington's International Program in Public Health Leadership (IPPHL) is now accepting applications for its 2027 cohort. This fully funded leadership fellowship is designed for mid-career public health professionals across Africa, particularly those working with or within African Ministries of Health. Supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the program aims to equip participants with leadership skills and policy expertise to strengthen health systems and drive sustainable public health transformation. The program includes an eight-month curriculum focusing on policy analysis, implementation science, and personal leadership growth.
