Pi-Open-Agents Streamlines Agent Management with Minimalist Approach
Pi-open-agents is a new plugin designed to unify agent and subagent management within the Pi system, leveraging a minimalist core for fast local model performance and cost-effective cloud API usage. It replaces previous plugins, pi-agent-mode and pi-subagents, offering a coherent solution with OpenCode-compatible agent definitions. The plugin supports per-agent model, thinking, and permissions, allowing for tailored configurations without global overrides. It introduces a permission system with detailed rules and auto-injected delegation guidance, enhancing the efficiency and flexibility of agent operations.
