Lexington Catholic High School Self-Reports KHSAA Bylaw Violation
Lexington Catholic High School has self-reported a violation of a Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) bylaw. The violation involved third-party donors making partial tuition payments for five newly enrolled students. None of these students have participated in any regular season competition for the school. The school has determined that the athletic director and coaching staff were not involved in the matter, although they have recently departed. Lexington Catholic is cooperating with KHSAA in the review process and is conducting a self-review to strengthen oversight guidelines. The school's president is no longer serving in their role.
