Susie Schick Zobell's Legacy of Family and Faith Remembered in Obituary
Susie Schick Zobell passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on April 3, 1933, in Kaysville, Utah, Susie was the fourth of nine children in the Schick family. Her upbringing during the Great Depression instilled in her a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for family. Susie was known for her exceptional gardening skills and her ability to preserve fruits and vegetables, a skill she passed on to her daughters. She was also an accomplished seamstress, earning recognition in the 'Make It With Wool' contest. Susie married Karl Zobell in 1954, and they had four children together. After Karl's passing in 1974, Susie dedicated herself to raising her children and maintaining strong family ties. She worked as a bookkeeper and later at American Express until her retirement. Susie was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in various roles throughout her life. Her legacy is one of faith, hard work, and love for her family.
