The lawsuit, confirmed by Page Six, accuses Harry of libel and slander following an internal dispute with the charity's chairwoman, Dr. Sophie Chandauka. The conflict reportedly began over a request for Chandauka to defend Markle after a negative media incident. Sentebale's board alleges that Harry's actions caused operational disruption and reputational harm. Harry, who co-founded Sentebale in 2006, resigned from the charity in March 2025 after disagreements with Chandauka. The Charity Commission for England and Wales found no evidence of systemic bullying but criticized both parties for their public dispute.
