International Organization for Migration Supports Bangladesh in Strengthening Migration Governance
The International Organization for Migration (IOM), a United Nations-related agency, is collaborating with the Government of Bangladesh on the "PROTTASHA II – STRENGTHENED SERVICE DELIVERY SYSTEMS FOR IMPROVED MIGRATION MANAGEMENT AND SUSTAINABLE REINTEGRATION" project. This initiative aims to enhance migration governance, institutional coordination, and service delivery systems within Bangladesh. A key component of this project involves IOM supporting the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment (MoEWOE) and its affiliated institution, the Wage Earners’ Welfare Board (WEWB).
