Esaote Showcases I-Genius MRI System at AANS Congress, Eyes U.S. Market
Esaote, a leader in medical imaging technology, has presented its I-Genius open MRI system at the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas. The I-Genius system is designed for intraoperative use during brain tumor surgeries, allowing for multiple MRI checks without moving the patient. This innovation aims to enhance surgical precision and efficiency by providing real-time imaging, which is crucial for complex procedures like glioma surgery. The system is currently pending FDA approval and is not yet available for sale in the U.S. However, its introduction at the AANS Congress marks a significant step towards entering the U.S. market.
