These views vary sharply by ethnicity: 57% of Jewish Israelis feel the military aid is appropriate, whereas 72% of Israeli Arabs believe it's excessive. Regarding humanitarian aid to Gaza, 52% of Israelis feel the U.S. provides too much, with 64% of Israeli Jews holding this view, compared to only 8% of Israeli Arabs. Conversely, 67% of Israeli Arabs believe not enough aid is provided. In the West Bank and East Jerusalem, a majority of Palestinians (69%) believe the U.S. provides too much military assistance to Israel, and 70% state that the U.S. is not providing enough humanitarian aid to Gaza civilians.
