Peak gusts are expected to reach 50-60 mph widely, with 60-70 mph in more exposed areas. The storm is also likely to bring sleet and snow to hills in central and northwestern Scotland. Public transport and road travel are expected to be disrupted, with ferry services and flights potentially affected. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents advises travelers to exercise caution and plan ahead.
