Glendale Community College Offers Restaurant Management Program to Address Industry Demands
Glendale Community College is providing a Restaurant Management program designed to equip students with the professional skills needed for the evolving food service industry. The program offers both an Associate of Science degree and a Certificate, focusing on key aspects of restaurant operations. Coursework covers personnel supervision, purchasing, menu development, cost control, and beverage service. Students will gain knowledge in professional cooking, sanitation practices, institutional purchasing, and banquet and catering presentation. The Certificate requires completion of specific units with a minimum grade of 'C' or 'P' in all courses, with at least six semester units completed at Glendale Community College. The Associate of Science degree has additional general education requirements and a minimum GPA of 2.0 across 60 semester units.
