Silverstone Implements Deposit Return Scheme at British Grand Prix
Silverstone, the venue for the British Grand Prix, has introduced a deposit return scheme (DRS) as part of a sustainability initiative. This trial run is a precursor to the UK's nationwide DRS launch, aimed at reducing single-use container waste. During the event, thousands of containers were processed, providing valuable insights into public engagement and the effectiveness of such schemes at large-scale events.
