BIO Asia-Taiwan 2026 Showcases Taiwan's Role as a Biotech Innovation Hub
The BIO Asia-Taiwan 2026 event, organized by Taiwan Bio Industry Organization and the Biotechnology Innovation Organization, concluded with record participation. The event highlighted Taiwan's emergence as a global biotechnology hub, attracting attendees from nearly 60 countries. Under the theme 'Asian Inspiration, Global Impact,' the exhibition featured 900 exhibitors and 2,300 booths. The conference facilitated international partnerships and showcased Taiwan's biotech sector, which generates over $25 billion annually. The event also included forums on AI, fundraising, and clinical trials, addressing challenges faced by SMEs and startups in the biotech industry.
