Texas First Responders Rescue Infant from Flooded Car Amid Heavy Rain
In Beeville, Texas, first responders successfully rescued an infant from a car trapped in floodwaters at a low-water crossing. The incident occurred after the driver entered a creek crossing that had become inundated due to heavy rain. Video footage released by the Beeville Police Department shows the dramatic rescue, where responders retrieved the baby in its carrier and shielded it from the rain. The car had been swept away by the rushing water, and the driver was unable to control the vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Aransas River in Bee County, highlighting the dangers of low-water crossings during storms.
