Students to Lead Development of AI Policy for Schools at Boston Workshop
A significant educational initiative is set to take place in Boston, where students will lead the development of a model AI policy for schools. The event, organized by AASA, The School Superintendents Association, and Day of AI, will involve superintendents and students from across the United States. The workshop aims to address the lack of clear policies on AI use in education by allowing students to craft guidelines that reflect their perspectives on AI's role in the classroom. Participants will engage in a legislative simulation to debate and develop the policy, which will be shared with school districts nationwide.
