Kenneth Mines, Longtime Highland Park Resident, Passes Away at 97
Kenneth A. Mines, a resident of Highland Park, Illinois, has passed away at the age of 97. Originally from Shaker Heights, Ohio, Mines was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his children Myrna Traylor, Stephanie Elaine Mines, and Karen Mines Williamson, as well as his grandchildren Erica R. Mines, Cerise Herndon, and Chase and Dylan Williamson. A visitation and funeral service are scheduled for May 1, 2026, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Highland Park, with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, Illinois. The family has requested that memorials be made to a ministry of choice at Trinity Episcopal Church.
