Previously, while running for president as an independent in 2024, a New York judge removed his name from the ballot, citing that the address he used was a 'sham.' Kennedy testified that he rented a room in New York but primarily lived in California. This legal issue has left him without a state where he can legally vote, a situation he is trying to resolve before the next election.
