St. Petersburg Launches Urban Agriculture Program with Public Info Sessions
The City of St. Petersburg is initiating a Community Urban Agriculture Program aimed at fostering 'new food forests' and enhancing existing community gardens. This initiative is part of the city's efforts to promote urban agriculture and sustainable food practices. To engage the community and gather input, the city has scheduled two public informational sessions. The first session will take place on May 26 at the St. Pete Youth Farm, and the second on June 11 at the Walter Fuller Recreation Center. These sessions are designed to inform residents about the program and encourage community involvement in urban agriculture projects.
