Solésence Backs UK Report on National UV Safety Strategy to Combat Skin Cancer Risks

This report, spearheaded by the United Kingdom's All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Beauty, Hair & Wellbeing, was launched at the British Parliament. It highlights the urgent need for a cohesive national strategy to address UV radiation exposure, which is classified as a Group 1 carcinogen by the World Health Organization. The report's findings indicate a projected 9% increase in melanoma cases by 2038, emphasizing the necessity for a shift in public perception and government policy regarding UV protection. Solésence, as a member of the UV Safety Coalition, is committed to implementing the report's recommendations, which include public awareness campaigns and categorizing UV protection as an essential good.
