Italian School Denies Involvement in BTS Noise Incident, Threatens Legal Action
An Italian high school, Liceo Scientifico Statale 'Albert Einstein' in Cerignola, has denied any involvement in a recent incident on a BTS Skytrain in Bangkok, where a group of Italian teenagers was accused of causing a disturbance. The school clarified that none of the individuals involved were affiliated with them and warned against spreading false information. The controversy began when the teenagers, visiting Thailand for an educational trip, were confronted by a Thai passenger for making loud noises, leading to online criticism. The situation was resolved after apologies from the students and the Italian Embassy in Thailand. However, the school has been wrongly identified online as being connected to the teenagers, prompting it to consider legal action to protect its reputation.
