Little Button Craft Store in Rochester to Close After a Decade Due to Financial Struggles
Little Button Craft, a local craft store in Rochester, New York, announced it will close its South Wedge storefront next month after nearly ten years in business. The store, known for its handmade goods from local artists and custom printing services, has been a community staple, featuring the work of over 275 artists within a 100-mile radius. Despite its popularity, the store has faced financial difficulties since 2024, leading to multiple GoFundMe campaigns that raised over $12,000 to cover operating expenses. The store plans to hold sales and sell its furniture and fixtures before its final day on August 15. Although the retail location is closing, Little Button Craft will continue to host crafting classes and community events at other locations in Rochester.
