Augusta's Dyess Park to Undergo Major Upgrades with Community Input
Augusta's Dyess Park is set for significant upgrades as part of a comprehensive redevelopment project. The Augusta Recreation and Parks department will host a public meeting to present the proposed improvements and gather community feedback. The project aims to create a safer and more connected community space, with plans for a new community center, enhanced recreational amenities, improved playgrounds, and expanded parking. Additional features under consideration include a fitness area, multi-use courts, and a performance lawn. The project also includes stormwater management improvements and provisions for future expansions.
