Justin Emmett Doyle's Legacy of Service and Education Remembered
Justin Emmett Doyle, a respected attorney and former U.S. Navy Lieutenant, passed away on May 23, 2026, in Canton, MA, surrounded by his family. Born in Rochester, NY, in 1935, Doyle had a distinguished career that spanned law, international service, and education. After graduating from the University of Rochester and Cornell University Law School, he practiced law in Rochester, NY, and later served as an attorney for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). His assignments took him to Egypt and Botswana, where he and his wife, Deborah, embraced new cultures. Doyle also served as Force Counsel to the Multinational Force & Observers, a treaty organization established by the Camp David Accords. He retired in 2007 and spent his later years between Pittsford, NY, and Naples, FL, before moving to the Boston area in 2025 to be closer to his children.
