Fort Worth Mayor Celebrates Students Graduating with Career-Ready Credentials
Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker is emphasizing the importance of preparing the future workforce in North Texas as the region continues to grow. This week, nearly 600 high school seniors were honored for earning secondary credentials alongside their diplomas. These students have achieved associate degrees, completed apprenticeships, or obtained trade certifications, enabling them to enter the workforce immediately. The programs offered have provided students with early experience in various fields, including medical assisting, childcare, and early learning, equipping them with practical skills and knowledge.
