Nonprofit Leader Discovers Homeless Living Inside Bridge Pillars in Los Angeles
A nonprofit leader, Juan Naula, discovered a man and woman living inside a crawl space within a bridge near the Los Angeles River. The couple, identified as Gustavo and his girlfriend, have been residing in the bridge for three years. The conditions inside the space are described as bleak, with the smell of smoke and urine prevalent. Naula, who runs the Clean LA With Me Instagram account, has been actively helping the homeless in Los Angeles since moving from the East Coast. He offered the couple food and water, which they accepted. The couple explained that they ended up in this situation after a bank took over their homes, leaving them without a place to live. Naula expressed his emotional response to the situation, stating that such living conditions are unacceptable.
