French Navy Expands Fleet with Five New CAMCOPTER S-100 Systems for Enhanced Maritime Surveillance
Schiebel has secured an order from the French Navy for five additional CAMCOPTER S-100 systems, enhancing its unmanned aviation capabilities. The systems will be integrated on FREMM frigates, providing maritime Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. The French Navy has utilized the CAMCOPTER S-100 since 2012, with previous integrations on various naval vessels. The new order reflects confidence in the system's performance and its operational maturity, supporting a wide range of missions without the need for launch or recovery equipment.
