Florida Voice for the Unborn PAC Endorses Byron Donalds for Governor, Citing Anti-Abortion Stance
A new political action committee (PAC) formed by Florida Voice for the Unborn, an anti-abortion group, has formally endorsed Republican Congressman Byron Donalds in the race for Florida Governor. The endorsement highlights Donalds' consistent anti-abortion record in both the U.S. House and the Florida Legislature. Donalds, a 47-year-old Brooklyn native, is running against former Republican-turned-Democrat David Jolly. Donalds has previously praised the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2022 decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, supported cutting Medicaid funding for Planned Parenthood, and voted against Congressional Democratic efforts to expand abortion access. Andrew Shirvill, chair of the new PAC, stated that the group will work to mobilize grassroots pro-life advocates to promote Donalds' candidacy.
