The initiative, titled 'Our Place to Give,' seeks to address the uneven distribution of charitable donations, which have historically favored London. Despite significant charitable contributions, many regions outside the capital have struggled to access sustained philanthropic support. The roadmap outlines strategies to connect philanthropists with local organizations, encouraging match-funding opportunities and involving donors in program design. Supported by £1 million in government funding, the plan aims to embed philanthropy within local priorities, driving sustainable social and economic renewal.
