Massachusetts Man Arrested in Warwick for Missing Court Appearance
Desman Alvarez, a 41-year-old resident of Dorchester, Massachusetts, was arrested by the Rhode Island State Police following a traffic stop on Interstate 295 in Warwick. The arrest occurred shortly before 11 p.m. on a Sunday. Alvarez was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court regarding a case involving driving with a suspended license. After being processed at the Wickford Barracks, Alvarez was taken to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake. This arrest highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to apprehend individuals with outstanding warrants.
